What is it about being a newlywed that makes you feel like you ought to have a blog? It's not that my life wasn't less interesting or lacked in value before my marriage (although I would say that my husband & our marriage has added an exponential amount of joy to life) but I guess it's almost a newlywed right of passage. Kind of like getting a puppy, which we did by the way. Now, I am aware that there are plenty of single gals & guys out there that blog their adventures and more power to ya for doing so. But I never quite felt the urge to consistently blog until my recent marriage. Where this came from, I don't know.
I am sure everyone has their reasons for blogging--it allows distant family members to keep up with you, post your DIY Projects, recipes, and what not. For me, I guess the reason is to share with everyone who celebrated with us in our marriage. And for those people in the future who will come alongside us as we grow together. But I guess this blog is also for us. To look back on after our first year and those that follow; to laugh at our newlywed antics and reflect on all that we accomplished & endured together. So, with that being said, I have deleted the sparse & inconsistent posts from before and begin with this blog anew. I would have created a whole new blog, but I am just a wee bit lazy. Plus, I don't think I could remember one more username and password. So this is what your getting. A recycled blog. Enjoy!
Lots o' Love,
Caroline
